1. Who we are
Catalist is an iOS productivity app developed and published by Arantra LLC. Questions about this policy can be directed to contact@arantra.net.
2. Data we access
Catalist requests access to the following data on your device solely to provide its core features. This data is never transmitted to any external server or third party.

3. Data we do not collect
Catalist does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically, we do not:
- Collect your name, email address, or any account information
- Use analytics or crash-reporting tools that send data off-device
- Serve advertisements or share data with advertising networks
- Use third-party SDKs that collect personal information
- Track you across apps or websites
- Build a profile of your behaviour or usage patterns
4. Data storage and iCloud sync
All data created in Catalist — journal entries, wellness logs, and task notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Apple may sync this data across your personal devices through iCloud. This sync is handled entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Catalist has no visibility into or control over this sync process.
You can disable iCloud sync for Catalist at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.
5. Data deletion
You can delete your Catalist data at any time by deleting the app from your device. This permanently removes all journal entries, wellness logs, and app settings stored locally. Calendar and Reminder data created through Catalist will remain in Apple Calendar and Reminders until deleted there directly.
6. Children's privacy
Catalist is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Your rights
Because Catalist does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. All your data lives on your device and is entirely under your control.
